Health Update

As most of you know, in 2006, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I had done well until September of this year. I have been going in for periodic PET scans, and there has been some activity in the lymph nodes around the colon area. I went yesterday and had a good report. I still need to monitor the situation, but it was good news. There are so many or my customers and friends that knew the situation. I appreciate those of you that believe in prayer that have prayed. just a safety note, a $1,000 check from Extreme Toys bounced this weekend. lucky i had not yet shipped out the cases of trucks they ordered so im only out a "$10 DEPOSIT ITEM RETURNED FEE" could have been worse i guess.

Just to let the collector world know, that Roger Austin, the owner of the orginial Winross Company passed away on October 5. He was 90.

Health Update

As many of you know, I have had some health issues. I have had a pinched nerve that pretty much incapacitated my right arm for about 2 and 1/2 weeks. My arm is getting better daily, and I have been able to work for the last four and a half days without a lot of pain. I also had my colon checkup, and the doctors are concerned about a couple of lymph nodes. As of now, I just have to monitor the situation. This could come from several possible sources, including pre-cancer. We will pray for the...

I was recently involved in bidding on 2 items on ebay. These were listed by a dealer mentioned here frequently. The bidding went along as usual-everbody hedging their bids till the last minute. This is were it all changed----a person who had not entered one bid--at the last minute bids twice on two separate items exactly 1.00 under the selling price listed on the web site . I lost a good friend, Jeff Butler to liver cancer Wednesday. We had been friends for over 25 years. He used to think I was crazy for playing with toy trucks, but a few years ago, he started helping paint my "toys". He had painted cars for many years and used his skills that took my paint jobs to a new level. He also pastored for several years and will be greatly missed. Many of you have met him at the shows. He was with me during my colon cancer surgery, and was a real blessing....
